Review: (#1) The blood placement is poor and while it gets across the Santa element, it fails to make itself seem like he’s the good guy rather than the bad guy as the trailer accomplishes.

(#2) The sledgehammer is an interesting touch, but the rest of the design looks like you would expect and without surprises feels a bit dull. (#3) This Dolby design is a bit more interesting than the prior efforts if only because it adds a level of menace that felt lacking from the previous designs.

Review: There could have been so many more wow moments, but the trailer seems steadfastly assured of itself and thus it creates a mélange of rudimentary elements that never quite push it into guilty pleasure territory.
