Review: (#1, C) The photographic conceit will be lost on most people who see this design, especially without having seen a trailer for the film. Even the, the empty space makes for a rather dull backdrop. (#2, C) Introduction of setting is nice but it doesn’t do much to generate excitement for a passer-by, though perhaps modern posters don’t even need to worry about that anymore, though they really should.

Review: (#1, C+) The premise in the trailer is poorly executed, requiring more attention from the viewer than it should. While it makes some amount of sense, it doesn’t generate the kind of interest it will need to appeal to diffident moviegoers.

Oscar Prospects:

It’s Italy’s submission to the Oscars so it has potential.
