Review: A bundle of ugly colors and blank space make for a dull, energy-deprived design.

Review: (#1 & #2) These two trailers, one filled with bloody violence of the red band variety and the other tame for general audiences, don’t differ enough from one another, at least not enjoy to justify being released separately. That said, there are some interesting ideas presented in the trailer and it could be quite engaging, but the film appears to be built on a lot of faded tropes that make things look less fresh than they should.
(#3) Heavy on action. Heavy on violence. Heavy on use of “reviews” from dubious sources. This trailer clearly has the short-attention-span crowd in mind and wants to make the film feel energetic, exciting, and otherworldly. It doesn’t precisely succeed, but it doesn’t exactly fail either.
Oscar Prospects:
None.
