Review: (#1) Cute, sure, but not detailed enough.

(#2) This design encapsulates a lot of the plot while filling much of the space with details worth checking out, though perhaps not enough details. (#3) This one is similar to the prior design, but it also feels a tad uninspired and just a bit confusing compared with the trailer. (#4) No background details and friends displaying a wide array of mediocre expressions.

Trailer Rating: B / B+

Review: (#1) More than many animated teasers of late, this trailer looks a little bit more juvenile than prior Pixar/Disney efforts, but that might just be why it’s releasing early in 2022 rather than in summer or winter.

(#2) We get far more details about the premise and they certainly make the film more interesting. There’s even a bit of humor here that makes it look like a lot of fun.

Oscar Prospects:

It’s a bit early, but the film will at least compete for Best Animated Feature if nothing else.
