Review: (#1) Pulling an image from the film doesn’t a good poster make, especially when there’s no real embellishment otherwise. (#2) Taking the image from the prior and then segmenting it does give the viewer over to the idea of a fractured existence, but is otherwise a dull design. (#3) Lessons not learned from the prior design, the excessive white of the background and the blandness of using an image from the film without flourishes, make for another waste of a poster.
Trailer Rating: C+ / C

Review: (#1) The original aspects of the plot are briefly visualized, but the overall design doesn’t make the claim that this is the indie hit to watch even if the producers try mightily to reference its critic bona fides.
(#2) There’s some measure of sexual tension in the trailer, but not enough to make it seem like a sexually adventurous film. The drama is likewise given short shrift, never quite given a chance to breathe or even to assert to the audience the importance of their viewership.
Oscar Prospects:
It was submitted for the Best International Feature Oscar, so it’s certainly a competitor, but sometimes the voters are persnickety in their selections.
