Review: (#1, C+) While it’s a bit too on-point in featuring a “scene” from the film, it has a haunting quality that will give it some appeal to audiences.
(#2, B-) While the harshness of the white skin is a bit overwhelming, the butterfly construction is fascinating and helps blunt the edge of that background.
Trailer Rating: B- / C+

Review: (#1, B-) Directed by M. Night Shyamalan’s daughter Ishana, this effort makes us question whether nepotism is a positive. In this case, there’s the same kind of promise her dad’s work had with the foreboding sense that it’s going to be a disappointment like much of her dad’s work.
(#2, C+) While the first trailer had a touch of suspense to it, this one builds the premise out more fully and sets it up almost entirely yet manages to lose some of the tension it needs to be compelling.
Oscar Prospects:
None.
