Review: (#1) The kaleidoscopic trope for poster design seldom works and this is on the cusp of working except for the awfulness of the color palette, which is limited to light yellow and shades of blue, neither of which go well together when the base images are also these shades.

(#2) The design features nice colors, but looks like a cheap cut-and-paste job. (#3) Back to the kaleidoscope style that has a lot of details, but is utterly uninteresting. (#4) This looks like they got the artist behind Archer‘s myriad poster designs and had them design one for a live-action comedy. I’m not sure it’s fitting, but it looks nice. (#5) If you’re going to cut-and-paste, this is how you do it and make it feel naturally cohesive.

Trailer Rating: C / C- / C+ / C

Review: (#1 & #2) The green band and red band trailers are largely identical with only a choice word thrown in here or there. It makes no sense to create two such similar trailers, neither of which are particularly fun or rewarding.

(#3 & #4) This green and red band trailer is nearly identical with the addition only of foul language. There’s nothing much here that we didn’t see in the first two trailers even if some of the elements feel a bit more focused and less drifting than before.

Oscar Prospects:

None.
