Review: (#1) A still from the film itself is never an advisable choice when designing posters, especially one that doesn’t tell the viewer anything about the film itself.

(#2) There isn’t enough in the sky and background to be interesting and the added hazy effect seems unnecessary. It’s not a design that draws attention with anything more than Ben Affleck in a tight-fitting, pec-highlighting shirt.

Review: Giving us far more of the film’s plot details for a first trailer, the film looks interesting if nothing else. Solid looking performances help elevate what appears to be a rather formulaic plot, even if it is based on a true story.

Oscar Prospects:

George Clooney has been on something of a downward slide with his filmmaking efforts in the wake of Good Night, and Good Luck., but early word has been favorable for this film, so he could be returning to the Oscar competition.
