Review: (#1, B-) A old fashioned design that’s perhaps a bit too regimented and lacking in background details. (#2, C) This limited image from the film tells of fire and period, but doesn’t tell of anything else. (#3, C+) With a little more creative energy than the prior design, this one also lacks intimate details. (#4-#9, C+) These character posters have a lot going for them. They look painterly, but perhaps a bit too staged to be evocative. (#10, C) This fire motif doesn’t really tell the viewer much about the film and that’s not likely to help it sell.
(#11, C+) While it puts the setting into its proper context and features the actors who will participate, none of it is done in a way that makes the effort look interesting.
Trailer Rating: C+

Review: (#1, C+) There have been a number of films that deal with men and women tending potential barren environments into prominent land and this one doesn’t seem interested in making itself stand out from similar ideas.
Oscar Prospects:
Mads Mikkelsen has picked up a few awards for this film and an International Feature shortlister, so it has potential for nominations, but is most likely going to be confined to International Feature.
