Review: (#1) While there are lots of details here and that works somewhat well, those details aren’t interesting enough to distract from the cheaply inserted Russell Crowe figure that almost doesn’t fit in with what’s around him. or example, his legs are in mist, but the rest of the lower portion of the poster isn’t.
(#2) The red background is unappealing and while it might draw in fans of Russell Crowe and possession horror films, it won’t do much to excite them. (#3) Less red than the prior design, but similarly contextualized. Crowe also looks a bit constipated. (#4) It has a faint whiff of The Exorcist and that isn’t terribly compelling. Yet, it’s distinct enough to not immediately feel like that to everyone and at least has enough details that it can bring in some potential viewers.

Review: If you’ve already seen your fair share of possession films, this trailer isn’t going to show you anything new. In fact, it looks like a retread of every film that came before it with the only selling factor being star Russell Crowe.
Oscar Prospects:
None.
