Poster Rating: C+

Review: A little too frilly along the edges with all the vine-work embellishment, it at least evokes a sense of longing that the boy has for the pool, which could be considered the central character of the film.

Trailer Rating: B

Review: Aside from the realist approach to filmmaking employed, the trailer doesn’t do an exceptional job of conveying more than a handful of complex emotional attachments for the characters in the film.

Oscar Prospects:

I doubt India would submit the film for the Oscars, but if it does, I’m sure it will be an also-ran, unless critics really come out in support of it.
