Review: (#1, C) If you want to waste the viewer’s time (and make something quick and cheap), you’ll go with a design that’s as barren and underwhelming as this effort. (#2, C) And then you’ll do it again. (#3, C) Then you’ll learn your lesson, pick up some different colors and fill the emptiness with words. An improvement in some regards but a failure in new ways.
Trailer Rating: C+ / C

Review: (#1, C+) The emphasis of the first trailer on the time and setting of the film gives its simplistic message some purpose. It still appears to be a forgettable attempt to entice penguin fans to the theater but at least there feels like a reason. (#2, C) Meanwhile, the second trailer almost entirely avoids the Argentine maladies elements, making it seem like an attempt to be Paddington without the anthropomorphizing.
Oscar Prospects:
None.
