Review: Considering the advances in visual effects that allow the creation of photo-realistic characters and environments, how is it that poster creators are so incapable of PhotoShopping something so that it looks real. The Josh Hartnett image at the bottom is most egregious. That the rest of the design is so relatively uninspiring only allows that “minor” detail flourish.
Trailer Rating: B- / B-

Review: (#1) This antiquated period romantic style hasn’t been popular in some years and while there are plenty of elements that enable the audience to get excited about the possibilities, a lot of those elements are rooted in a relationship they don’t feel attached to in the trailer.
(#2) I understand wanting your audience to get a full glimpse of the drama, romance, action, and landscape in the film, but this trailer starts dragging in the middle section, which might not be the impression the producers want to give.
Oscar Prospects:
The trailer has a very English Patient vibe, which won’t mean much without major stars at the helm, but depending on how it’s received, it could be a minor Oscar player.
