Review: (#1) While you have to stretch hard to get all the costume and prop symbolism without the trailer itself, in conjunction with the trailer, it makes a bit more sense. Yet, it’s soo formulaic and simplistic as to be dull.
(#2) An action-packed design with lots to look at and while we’ve seen many designs similar to this before, the colors are lovely and it should do its job well. (#3-#8) This series of character posters features unique settings, mildly humorous asides and plenty of the color and liveliness of the primary design.
Trailer Rating: B+

Review: There’s originality in the premise, that much is certain. What’s not original is how it’s approached by the actors. This surprisingly humorous trailer does look delightfully self-aware and with actors who are all-in on the preposterous nature of the plot, it looks to be a lot more fun than it has any right to look.
Oscar Prospects:
None.
