Poster Rating: C+

Review: Why the makers chose to use such a Black Dahlia-like image for the bottom of the poster is about as inexplicable as the choice to highlight four of the film’s actors with head shots alongside the down-striking red slash. It looks a bit like the poster for Murder on the Orient Express because of that, but not with nearly the quality.

Trailer Rating: B-

Review: There’s a grim fascination that drives many audiences to these kinds of films and I must admit that while the movie doesn’t look terribly different than a lot of other films on the same subject, I am genuinely intrigued.

Oscar Prospects:

Serial killer films aren’t generally up the Academy’s alley and this one doesn’t look fairly typical of that thought.
