Review: (#1) The design is poorly lit, grainy, and features too many elements that don’t fit well together. (#2) The hand drawn style backdrop doesn’t accentuate the characters at the center of the design. It helps dull them. (#3) Ill-fitting elements combined in a dull color palette and featuring overly touched-up faces.

Review: (#1 & #2) Although both trailers present this as a modest romance set against the backdrop of a war-torn country, neither share a lot of scenes in common. Yet, they both feel part-and-parcel of the same design and combined might give away the entire film. Neither is particularly adept at engaging the audience more than superficially.
Oscar Prospects:
None.
