Poster Rating: C

Review: Obviously attempting to capture the viewers that made Into the Wild a success, this poster is almost a carbon copy. Sure the lead is standing on and not sitting on the vehicle and there are three large photos of characters at the top, but the comparision is undeniable and probably not desired.

Trailer Rating: B-

Review: If the poster bares striking resemblance to Into the Wild, the trailer does too. While it does make for a more interesting experience, I’m not sure tat its high concept will fly very far. It’s mid-year release will also likely doom it to failure.

Oscar Prospects:

If Into the Wild, directed by Hollywood legend Sean Penn, can’t get a nomination, don’t expect this film to earn one either.
