Synopsis:
From IMDb: “A young woman studying the habits of webcam chat users from the apparent safety of her apartment witnesses a brutal murder online and is quickly immersed in a nightmare in which she and her loved ones are targeted for the same grisly fate as the first victim.”
Poster: B- / D
Review: Of the two designs, the first is more interesting. It uses still images from various chat windows to evoke a sense of premise while covering the young woman’s mouth like the duct tape that was used in the film itself. The second, intended for a foreign audience, goes for the blue tones of a night shoot with far fewer images than the first design. I don’t think either will
Trailer: B
Review: You know where the film is headed early on, even if they don’t goose up the terror until around the half-way point. It does well establishing the realistic, voyeurism elements that will make it more palatable to horror audiences who are always looking for something a bit unique.
Oscar Prospects:
None.
