Review: (#1) The first in a line of unexceptional designs that capitalizes solely on Adam Sandler’s familiarity, but without a decent sense of theme or purpose. (#2) A teaser “worthy” of a major Hollywood effort, but not of a small release. (#3) A cheap attempt to suggest the film has a cross-dressing scene, which for Adam Sandler fans might be catnip, but is rather cheap and overly theatrical when the trailer doesn’t suggest he ever inhabits a woman’s body.
(#4 & #5) Almost identical designs that are not interesting and not very exciting. The latter design is bolstered only by adding a detailed background rather than a cheap white background. (#6) It’s the original design with a large and distracting white title bar covering up the details.
Trailer Rating: B-

Review: Somewhere in this trailer is an interesting concept unable to find its way out. The idea has merit, but the trailer is slapdash claptrap without a singular purpose for driving audiences successfully to the theater.
Oscar Prospects:
None.
