Review: (#1) If you want to sell your film on Emma Thompson, this would work. Otherwise, there’s not much here to tell the audience what they are getting into.
(#2) This film seems unconcerned with the banality of its posters, though if you’re compelled by Emma Thompson, it might just work.
Trailer Rating: C+

Review: Apart from Emma Thompson’s performance, this film looks generic, formulaic, and like it has too many familiar purportedly emotional beats.
Oscar Prospects:
It could be a minor contender, but the September release isn’t going to help much. Emma Thompson could be the only survivor and that would require her to knock off a lot of stiff competition.
