Review: Perhaps a little over-produced, this poster is visually striking even if reminiscent of so many other designs. The lines are classic, yet trendy and you could probably spend several minutes exploring the depth and background of it, getting some manner of pleasure in doing so.

Review: If it weren’t for that cast, this would look like every other murder mystery thriller made in the wake of Fargo. Matter of fact, the premise seems so strikingly like Fargo, except without the dark humor, that the police investigator being a woman with an impairment (this time alcoholism rather than pregnancy). That’s a problem, but perhaps a cast like this wouldn’t have scoped out the film unless it had the promise to be better. The trailer doesn’t give a lot of hope, but there’s still a glimmer.
Oscar Prospects:
None.
