Review: While it does somewhat speak to the style of Jamie Foxx’s character, it’s cheaply produced with a dull background and no genuine appeal.

Review: There’s a lot of forced tension and humor in this trailer, which makes the film seem like it’s trying too hard to be broadly appealing. The storyline, while based on true events, doesn’t quite pop off the screen like it should.

Oscar Prospects:

While there’s some chatter about Foxx as a contender, this seems like the kind of fluff that never makes it through the Oscar race.
