Poster Rating: B+

Review: The poster is a striking image and was the first thing that drew me to the page. It’s succinct and appropriate and completely conveys the film’s subject. Not many posters can achieve that.

Review: While it’s not difficult to get tired of the endless stream of Holocaust stories, there’s something about this film that seems more genuine than other recent entries. I haven’t seen any, but this may be the first time the Holocaust has truly been explored through the eyes of two children on opposite sides of the war.

Oscar Prospects:

As it isn’t a Foreign Language Film, it’s Oscar prospects diminsh a great deal. However, if it is in the least bit good, this is the Acadmey’s favorite type of film and could do well.
