Review: (#1) Rudimentary at best, lazy at worst. It does call back memories of the awful, minimalist designs of the first film, which is likely intentional.

(#2) Not much has changed since the prior design and the end result is likewise little changed. The blank white backdrop, although emblematic of the first film’s designs, isn’t very appealing.

Trailer Rating: D / D / C+

Review: (#1) If the original film appealed to you, then you’ll probably be enticed to check out this film. However, for those not fans of the first film or those who haven’t seen it yet, this infantile and overbaked premise grows thin early and lacks any enjoyable humor making it feel pointless.

(#2) This trailer doesn’t add anything of value to the prior design, which relied entirely on fans’ appreciation to sell itself to the next grouping of potential viewers. Yet, it feels so cheaply cheesy that it still won’t pull in those who aren’t already game.

(#3) After two dull and humorless trailers, this film finally gets a design that might appeal to a broader demographic. It still looks pointlessly silly, but it’s certainly more appealing than it was in the first two designs.

Oscar Prospects:

None.
