Review: There are some mildly humorous moments in this ripped-from-the-headlines trailer about the rise and fall of the Beanie Baby empire. That’s not for a lack of trying as the actors seem game for the premise, but the trailer moves along ploddingly, which makes the effort feel a bit dull.
