Review: Positionally, the poster has some thematic relevance, but it’s a bland scene with less emotional weight to it than necessary to be of interest.

Review: (#1) Although the trailer is rather dry and seems to go on indefinitely, fans of Martin McDonagh will recognize his sense of humor and will likely find something of interest here.
(#2) It’s similar enough to the prior trailer that it isn’t an improvement and the end result is still something that looks modestly interesting, but poorly handled by the trailer editor.
Oscar Prospects:
Now that Martin McDonagh has earned his Oscar cred, his movies should be considered contenders. This brings back together his In Bruges stars Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson, both of whom have a chance at Oscar nominations alongside the film itself.
