Review: (#1, C) If you saw this poster at a movie theater without having seen the trailer, you’d think it was some religious drama with a malicious nun. The stained-glass aesthetic doesn’t suit very well (even if it’s drawn directly from the scenic design of the film) but at least they got the lighting of the figures to match..

Review: (#1, B-) Unique premises have a way of shining through even when the conventional nature of the filmmaking inhibits its appeal. This trailer embodies that without a sense of theme that would pique the curiosity of a random moviegoer. It definitely feels like a film that film school students might gravitate to but experienced cineastes would dismiss out of hand.
Oscar Prospects:
It has an interesting enough premise with prominent actors that could result in its contention but it’s also a bit weird, which might mute its potential.
