Review: A generic Little Miss Sunshine throwback that builds itself on a concept that fits within the framework of the film’s narrative, but feels inorganically staged.
Trailer: C+
Review: I’m sure the brief reference to Cannes would have had more impact had it been highlighted. The trailer instead wants to focus on the familial connections of its protagonists as a way to intimate itself with a defined foreign lingo/indie viewer. It works a little, but the trailer also makes the film look a bit unfocused.
Oscar Prospects:
None.
