Review: (#1) The solid orange background with faint fading does not make for a pleasing combination, even if it is a Halloween-style film for this Halloween release. (#2-#11) These character posters are fitted with dull, albeit different, colored backgrounds that don’t make the foreground image stand out more interestingly. (#12) Another full character poster with an uninspired solid-ish color background.
(#13-#18) This series of character posters is an interesting pastiche of old postcards from prominent landmarks that these characters are apparently visiting. Each one is different, which makes for a solid set of character designs.
Trailer Rating: C+ / C+

Review: (#1) The opening bit feels like a teaser trailer that is carelessly blended into the full narrative review, giving the audience plenty of expectations for the film without any of them feeling worthwhile.
(#2) Once again, we get details without intrigue. Fans of the first film will have already bought into the prior trailer, so this one seems unlikely to give converts something to latch onto with interest. There’s a lot of obviousness here, which might go over well with children, but The Addams Family is a familiar property to a lot of older audiences as well and this isn’t likely to get them excited.
Oscar Prospects:
The first film didn’t manage to surprise with a nomination, the sequel isn’t likely to either.
