Review: If it weren’t for the film’s stars, this would look like a very cheap made-for-TV monstrosity. However, Ellen Page and Allison Janney seem to elevate the material with what look like potentially potent performances.

Oscar Prospects:

Netflix is chomping at the bit to score Oscar attention in the narrative categories and this is one of their pushes. While both of its stars, Alison Janney and Ellen Page, could be in competition, the film just doesn’t feel like Oscar material.
