Review: (#1-#4) These character posters are varied enough to be distinct, but common enough to be forgettable.
(#5) Tying together the four prior posters, there is nothing of additional distinctiveness to set it apart from those.
Trailer Rating: C / C+ / B- / C+

Review: (#1) The tease works to set the film up for audiences familiar with the original film, but it’s not particularly exciting or significant.
(#2) The concept is striking. Whereas the first film dealt with drug addicts trying to make lives out of their dysfunction, this film follows those same blokes twenty years later as they struggle to find a replacement for the highs they once sought as youths. It might have some interesting things to say about life and expectations, but the trailer doesn’t quite get that across sufficiently.
(#3) Fans of the original film may be most fascinated, but there’s plenty of traditional and non-traditional elements on display that could pique interests from a number of quarters.
(#4) The film doesn’t seem to be getting more interesting with each subsequent trailer and what made prior efforts better seems tamed in this one.
Oscar Prospects:
None.
