Review: (#1) It’s simple, but speaks to the premise incredibly well. It might need a bit more embellishment to shine, but it’s striking enough as is. (#2) While this does do a lot more than the prior effort, it’s somehow less interesting in spite of the nicer background details. It feels like it lacks mystery.

Review: (#1) The premise of the film is buried inside a sense of chaos. Anime must convince the audience it fits within the genre even if the trailer also needs to appeal to others. This kind of inventive narrative would benefit more from a more laid back explanation of its plot.

(#2) This English-dubbed trailer doesn’t add any new information than the first trailer and while certain elements like the cat’s statements carrying a bit more impact, the overarching appeal to the film will be severely limited to anime fans with no cross-over appeal.
