Review: (#1) Yeah, the names at the top might make the film a draw, but the lack of characters combined with the surprisingly dull setting just don’t make this very appealing. (#2-#9) Sure, we get introduced to the characters, but do these character posters have to have such a lifeless backdrop? No.
(#10) This design is cheaply constructed, staged, and worst of all dully colored and lighted.
(#11-#17) This series of character posters look like they are drawn straight out of the pages of Tiger Beat magazine. That wouldn’t necessarily be a negative point if they weren’t so cheap and cheesy as a result.
Trailer Rating: C+ / C / C

Review: (#1) While the trailer is a bit of a tease since we don’t really know what the plot is. It’s mildly amusing and certainly diverting enough for children, but to become a hit, it will need to be more appealing to adults and right now, it is not.
(#2) The joy of discovery seems dull. There aren’t many scenes that evoke awe or humor or necessity. It’s a trailer with an interesting, but easily whiffed premise.
(#3) A film that couldn’t look more crass and predictable probably couldn’t be found, leaving us with a trailer that doubles down on the cuteness without any of the substance.
Oscar Prospects:
Maybe a minor contender for Animated Faeture, but I suspect that isn’t likely in the end.
