Review: (#1) The background doesn’t feel like it needs to be embellished more as the foreground image suits it well with the reflections working to create thematic relevance. (#2) The opposite of the prior design, the colors are the same, the background feels similar, but also empty in spite of its content. The foreground is simply too uninteresting despite its action element.
(#3-#6) This series of character posters are too similar and lacking in details to be compelling.
Trailer Rating: C+ / C+ / C+

Review: (#1 & #2) There isn’t enough of a difference between the two trailers to merit separate entries. Combined, neither of them feel like the fun romp we might otherwise have expected. The over-emphasis on visual effects makes the film look visually dazzling, but without an exciting narrative, the package doesn’t matter.
(#3) It’s a bit amazing how a film with so many stunning visuals could feel so dull. These trailers have made the film’s premise seem lifeless and simply an excuse to create effects wonders. While Jason Momoa’s personality comes through a bit, he’s a bit more sidelined here than prior efforts.
Oscar Prospects:
None.
