Review: (#1) The four-quarter design is too often used and is misunderstood to be an adequate and effective way of showing off all the characters. It isn’t. (#) Were this a series of character posters, it might be a tad bit more interesting, but this is one character, one actor and while admittedly appealing to fans, it isn’t going to bridge any interest gaps.

Review: Looking like a dingy, grimy vision of what westerns should have been, the film plays too heavily on those same tropes to be an effective reinvention.
