Review: (#1, C+) The film’s central characters each have their own insets and it has some vague resemblance to styles used in the 1970s, especially for television. It also ties into the multi-monitor setup used to watch all camera angles in the studio booth. Yet, it uses the black, white, and red lettering that is significantly overused.

Trailer Rating: B-

Review: (#1, B-) The tension builds effectively as the trailer goes on and that will help audiences connect to it but that excitement might not be as intriguing to those who aren’t consumers of history or have no problem with dramas set in a single location with minimal connection to the outside world.

Oscar Prospects:

Argo came out of nowhere to be a major Oscar contender, it seems like September 5 is also building a reputation to that extent.
