Review: (#1, C+) What impresses itself most on the audience is the period setting and its remoteness. While the tone suggests coming-of-age, that notion is poorly conveyed in the trailer itself. That might be for the best as the synopsis suggests something complete different than what’s suggested in the preview itself.
