Review: (#1, C) A splotch of blue and a terrible hand-writing-style font and you have something not particularly inviting. The film scene depicted doesn’t add much excitement either.
(#2, C) Another aggressively bland poster design with aggressive lettering and an uninspired background.
Trailer Rating: C+ / C

Review: (#1, C+) The snippets the film provides of the plot don’t tell the audience much about the film. It suggests a crazy, weird little film with lots of eclectic content but little merit. The drawing factor is Daniel Craig but his performance in the trailer isn’t much to look at, so the trailer fails overall.
(#2, C) Stripping out all the things that made the first trailer interesting (the suggestion of originality in narrative form and function) is all but replaced by a lack of character development and the minimized celebration of Daniel Craig’s performance. A step down.
Oscar Prospects:
While the movie wasn’t very popular in its screen debut, Daniel Craig’s performance was well received, so he’s in the hunt even if the film is not.
