Review: The background elements are striking, but they are minimal and with such a simplistic central character image, it only makes the imbalance stick out.

Review: (#1, B) There’s a lot of creative energy in this trailer that presents a brief evocation of the plot, but ultimately feels like a film that could be ridiculously fun.
(#2, C+) The twee excitement of the first trailer is subsumed by a familiar and dull trailer that eradicates anything that makes the film seem original and makes it feel like a tepid product as a result.
(#3, C-) There’s nothing from the film on display here, which won’t create much appeal. It’s also a bit too bizarre for regular audiences. All-in-all, it’s not the kind of trailer that tells a potential viewer anything of merit.
Oscar Prospects:
None.
