Review: (#1) It’s a design that almost makes you gag, but not because it’s terrifying, but because having hair in your mouth is gross. Not the kind of horror to sell a film off of. (#2) The hair is back in a different way, pulling in visual concepts from numerous similar films over time and none of it works.

Trailer Rating: C- / B-

Review: (#1) If you could get a computer to write a script that homogenized every other possession horror film into a single entity, this would probably be it and that’s even with the attempt at a new angle on the story.

(#2) This trailer does a better job establishing its unique trajectory even if it all still feels overly familiar. There are just enough of those original touches to almost make it compelling.

Oscar Prospects:

None.
