Review: (#1) A busy and somewhat interesting design that lacks specificity, but has some mildly interesting symbolism.
(#2) Lots of color, but none of it used in interesting or meaningful ways. This is a design that tells the viewer only a slim amount, though it probably gets the neo noir vibe pretty well.
(#3) All your favorite characters in display in a cheap, uninspired overall design. (#4) There just isn’t enough here, especially compared to the first two designs that it’s partially based on. (#5-#10) This series of character posters aren’t as unique as they should be, but are dissimilar enough to be interesting. (#11-#14) This series of character posters is cute as hell, but not terribly creative.
Trailer Rating: B- / B-

Review: (#1) These kinds of films just seem so tacky in execution, but there’s something cute and appealing about this trailer.
(#2) There are a few more details here and while the original trailer had a slight neo noir vibe, this new trailer definitely lays out the idea that it’s a fitting neo noir for a very young generation that probably won’t get the references.
Oscar Prospects:
None.
