Review: A place-holding poster like many others. This one does very little to give us an idea of the film’s subject. It will likely be replaced closer to the release date or afterwards with a new, more insightful poster. We can hope.

Review: I can’t say that this would be a terribly engaging film for most audiences. The fact that it explores the life of a man asked to do a thankless job and the wedge it shoves between him and the rest of the world is certainly an interesting premise. Critics across the pond have loved it and it’s gone some terrific advance notices, but it won’t be something that just anyone will be able to enjoy.
Oscar Prospects:
I don’t see it cracking the American ceiling of the Oscars. It’s an interesting subject, but its mid-year release suggests that a push for Oscar recognition may not even be in the producers’ interest. It will need both strong critical support during the end of year awards as well as strong indie box office numbers.
