Review: (#1) A simple slice of life and were the upper portion speaking to the book he’s reading, it would be more inspired. Otherwise, it feels a bit tepid. (#2) A film that seems content in its own joy, this poster seems fitting even if dull.

Review: It’s so rare to find a film that doesn’t have a dramatic undercurrent and looks explicitly at the joy of a simple life. That comes through quite well in the trailer, but that may not be enough to sell the film, especially to a Wim Wenders-friendly audience.

An International Feature nomination could be in its future.
