Review: This isn’t a particularly deep or evocative image. A flag at half-mast is a well recognized symbol, but using that as the sole sales tool isn’t very effective.

Trailer: C+

Review: Apart from the compelling historical elements in the trailer, this film is portrayed as a star-studded behind-the-scenes exposé without wanting to share the more intimate and heartfelt components of the situation.

Oscar Prospects:

I’m sure on paper this film looked like a slam-dunk Oscar contender. In execution, I doubt it’s anywhere close to one.
