Review: (#1) It’s time to stand up so that the tagline has more relevance. That’s why I suppose the one figure is preparing to rise at the center of the design. This may create setting, but it’s not particularly exciting as everyone is just watching and waiting. That might be true of the film’s plot, but for a poster design, it’s the wrong message to send. (#2) This better encapsulates what the title means, putting a lone figure against a raging wildfire. It still lacks sufficient urgency.
Trailer Rating: C+ / B- / B+

Review: (#1) If you have any interest in real life stories or firefighters, this trailer might appeal to you. Regardless, it’s a commonplace unexciting design.
(#2) The second trailer doesn’t put as much emphasis on why these firefighters are in the position they’re in and seems more interesting in selling you on who’s in it with vague suggestions of excitement.
(#3) Although it pulls back some elements of the prior to trailers, it better engages the audience with why these figures are important and why there might be drama in the offing.
Oscar Prospects:
The sound awards could be the best place for the film to be recognized, but competition will be fierce.
