Poster: B- / C- / B / B / C+ / B- / C

Review: (#1-#4) The first design is no great statement, but it has a nice blend of colors and handily expresses the film’s premise. The second poster is abysmally bland, a mistake for a film that is trying to go for the unique descriptor. The third is more akin to the first one, but feels more organic and fitting. The fourth design isn’t much like the first and third, but it tries to go for a different aesthetic that catches your attention and makes you wonder what the film is about. It’s also for foreign markets, which is a poor decision.

(#5-#7) That’s followed up by three more foreign offerings, none of which really stand out as superior than the other, but each try to employ new stylistic elements. The fifth poster is no great shakes, but the seventh is even less interesting. The sixth is a fine follow-up to the first and third, but lacks the color-appealing style of those designs.

Trailer: C+

Review: The trailer gives the premise to the audience and tries to make the film sound like it’s going to be odd like its protagonist, but feels more like a generic genre horror thriller with a low-rent cast and corny plotting and dialogue. It might give the film some appeal to an audience looking for its next cult fix, but it will make the film less interesting to a more muted audience.

None.
