Review: (#1) The background details would be more interesting if they were more distinct. The central figure is given some representation, but might be somewhat misleading. (#2) This is a little better representation of the film and its setting, but it’s also fairly simple-minded.

Review: The trailer tries to do too much, establishing who Nimona is along with her goals and then setting up the action/adventure elements that will follow in that wake. It all feels a bit overburdened.

Oscar Prospects:

It could be a contender for Best Animated Feature, but its early release suggests this isn’t the film Netflix will push.
