Review: (#1, D) The trailer doesn’t explain why there’s a snake-like background to this title-only design. one covered in a rope pattern would have been far more fitting at this juncture.

(#2, C) The subtlety of the ropes is perhaps too minimal to catch a passer-by but with some studying, isn’t bad. (#3, B-) Then you have this where the ropes are more obvious and they weave through the woods and that fits thematically. The figures are perhaps too small to identify but it’s a striking enough design to appeal to some.

Trailer Rating: C+ / C

Review: (#1, C+) You can be forgiven if you’re struck by the similarities to A Quiet Place, this certainly looks like the budget version of the film despite the presence of Oscar winner Halle Berry. While there are hints at the discrepancies between the two productions, the trailer doesn’t provide sufficient reason to be curious due to the similarities.

(#2, C) It’s hard to notice the difference between the two designs but this one gets the premise across well enough though the tension feels more heavy-handed than genuinely earned and that might turn audiences off.

Oscar Prospects:

None.
