Review: (#1, C) This design certainly stands out but the rigid pose of the horse, the uniform color of the terrain in the background, and the tall narrow titling all making the effort lacking in appeal. It also doesn’t tell the viewer anything about the film in question, which is a disservice.

Review: (#1, B) The film seems a bit off-kilter, looking at queer rodeo from a seemingly straight lens. This is an environment that seems antithetical to most of our concepts of the rodeo aesthetic while hewing close to it. It seems like the focus is on a straight guy falling in love and that juxtaposition could be interesting but the trailer doesn’t quite make the case.
