Review: (#1) There’s nothing compelling about this design. Other than the title’s reference to a policeman, you wouldn’t easily be able to make that assessment, especially if you weren’t familiar with British uniforms. It doesn’t say much of anything either, other than that they hope Harry Styles fans will be intrigued.
(#2) A lot of empty space here and not enough foreground details to makeup for it. Vacant isn’t what you want your poster to feel like when that’s already the early buzz around the film itself.
Trailer Rating: C / C

Review: (#1) The subtlety of the gay undertones is reminiscent of a day when such films couldn’t be advertised on the big screen for fear of backlash. Now, the opposite is true and the end result is something that makes its subject matter feel shameful and that’s not appropriate.
(#2) For a gay romance, the dullish take on the material doesn’t embellish the love affair at its center and the overly British approach to feature filmmaking makes the effort looks more uninspired than it really is.
Oscar Prospects:
None.
